SUMMARY:2025 National Specialty
DESCRIPTION:Next year’s National Specialty will be held in conjunction with the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Dog Show held at the Maxville Fairgrounds in Maxville\, Ontario near Cornwall. \nOur booster will be held on Saturday\, our National on Sunday followed by our social and silent auction. \nMaxville is the home of the Highland Games!!\nThis is the largest dog show held in Ontario and the second largest in Canada!! It will take place over four days August 22\, 23. 24\, and 25th. \nThere will be 4 All Breed Championship Shows as well as our National on Sunday. We will be offering an altered class for anyone wishing to show their spayed or neutered dog in conformation. We had a wonderful turn out last year. \nAs well as conformation there will be: \n\n5 All Breed Obedience Trials\n7 All Breed Rally Trials\n5 All Breed Agility Trials\n6 Rat Canada Trials\nCGN Testing\nTrick Dog Testing and Sprinter\nAll Breed Baby Puppy offered Friday\, Saturday\, Sunday and Monday\nAll Breed Veteran Class\nJunior Handling\n\n  \nThere are 2 grooming area spaces\, Building and Arena at no charge with bathing stations just outside the grooming building \nThere is a lot of room for camping and possibly campers to rent for the weekend. SD&G has agreed to give us a group of campsites. There are also hotels nearby. \nThere are numerous vendors as well as a food truck on site. \nHope to see you there.
